Brisbane Visual Arts Community – This is a FREE event to enter but a fee for workshops. Enjoy demonstrations, workshops, and sales; a pop-up pottery studio by Western Suburbs Clayworkers and Ceramic Arts Queensland’s “Raku Experience” on Sunday morning. Papermakers and Artists QLD will be running two workshops – Introduction to Recycled Papermaking (Saturday from 9 am-11 am) + Simple Folded Paper Creations (Sunday from 11:30 am -1:30 pm). Paint a Piece of Jewellery Workshop (Sunday 9 am-11 am) – Create two porcelain necklace discs – hand decorated by yourself – with directions from an award-winning porcelain artist. ( cost for this one is $40) or attend ATASDA Workshops using fabrics in new and exciting ways!
