LEST WE FORGET – The full program of ANZAC remembrance events are set to return to Brisbane in 2021 to pause, acknowledge and commemorate all those who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. ANZAC Day Marches, parades, dawn services and other remembrance services can take place but as with everything, in a COVID safe way to protect everyone in the community.  https://rslqld.org/Whats-On/ANZAC-Day

Much loved events include:

1.Light up the Dawn ;

This event is the moving dawn service held at memorial sites to lay floral wreaths to honour the fallen. As well as the official service in the CBD, local services are also held in suburbs around Brisbane.

2. ANZAC Day Street Parade and March;

The street parade and march is a centrepiece of the day with veterans and service personnel marking, driving and taking a salute from officials and dignitaries through the Brisbane CBD.

3. Driveway at Dawn

Residents of Brisbane will recall that last year’s events were cancelled due to COVID-19 with some members of the community choosing to stand on their driveways at dawn to pay their respects in the absence of being able to line the streets for the march or attend the dawn service. This tribute is encouraged to be repeated this year at 6 am to participate from your own home. Find out more at https://rslqld.org/Whats-On/ANZAC-Day

We honour the men and women who serve and protect us. www.conveyancinghome.com.au #anzac #brisbane
